Surviving on Lockdown
Life as we understand it has drastically altered. The world beyond our doors is a ghost of its former self. We are now confined within the walls of our homes, forced to adjust to a new lifestyle. The days run together, marked by the rhythm of online meetings, binging media, and eating. We crave for the simple activities that were once taken for granted: a stroll in the park, a cup of tea with friends, or even just a conversation without a screen separating us.
This new situation has brought challenges, but it has also revealed unexpected qualities within ourselves and our communities. We have learned to be more compassionate, more creative, and more thankful for the simple things in life. As we navigate this new territory, we must remain hopeful that brighter days are near.
Six Feet From Freedom
Life behind bars is a harsh reality. Every day, home arrest you face boundaries that feel like an unbreakable barrier. The world outside seems so near, yet it's separated by just a mere six feet.
Sometimes, the pressure of those bars feels overwhelming. You crave freedom with every fiber of your being. Each new day serves as a constant echo that you're trapped.
But even in the darkest moments, there's a spark of hope. A hope that one day, you'll step over those bars and finally be free. That day might seem distant, but it's a dream worth holding onto.
Chains of Liberty
The allure for freedom can be a powerful force. Yet, paradoxically, it can even lead to imprisonment. This manifests when the very notion of freedom becomes manipulated, transforming into a weapon for control and suppression.
True freedom entails not only the absence with external constraints but also the development of internal spirit. When this inner core is lacking, even in a society that values freedom, individuals can find themselves trapped within the limitations of their own thoughts.
Finally, the true measure of freedom lies in our ability to transcend the constraints that restrict our potential, both externally and internally.
